4Children is currently advertising for the job role of Qualified Teacher.

Salary: £10,338 per annum based on 2.5 hours per week, term time only
Location: Harlequin Children’s Centre, Witham, Essex
Hours: 2.5 days per week (17.5 hours)
Closing date: 7th January 2009

We are looking for an experienced teacher to work alongside the Early Years Co-ordinator/ Nursery Manager to provide high quality care and education for all children using the Children Centre and Day Nursery; and to work as part of the Children’s Centre Team planning, organising and delivering the early years curriculum within the birth to 5 age range.

You will:

• work within the code of practice for Special Educational Needs and differentiate the curriculum to ensure that it is accessible to all children
• support and facilitate links with pre-schools, day nurseries and schools in the locality in conjunction with partner agencies
• work with and support the development of Childminders Networks linked to the Children’s Centre
• continue the development of the Children’s Centre ethos
