Making a Difference
A heritage learning research project from Curiosity & Imagination
Curiosity & Imagination, the national network for children’s hands-on learning, aims to enrich children’s lives through encouraging and supporting child-centred, hands-on learning provision. This action research looked at the impact that high quality heritage learning experiences had on the way children feel about themselves, and on the way they relate to the people and places around them.
Professional evaluators worked with five imaginative projects around the UK, helping them to discover what impact they were having on the children. This leaflet outlines the findings of each project, as well as the overall implications. The research was funded by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.
