We believe that society should put the needs of children, young people and families at the centre of policy making and service delivery. We want to see a universal framework and strategy for children’s services at both a central and a local level. We believe in moving towards the integration of services, professions and funding streams that touch the lives of children, young people and families.
Taken together, we believe that concepts such as Children’s Centres and Extended Schools offer a model for bringing together and enhancing support for children and young people, developing integrated services in every community.
